4. St. Augustine

When you say Florida, you automatically think about Miami Beach or Orlando’s theme park because these are two of the most visited locations. But you missed St. Augustine! This city is full of awesome historical landmarks, including St. George Street, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, and the old jail.

When it comes to accommodation, most of them are budget-friendly, even if you are looking to stay in a hotel. If you are a beach lover, you should also check out St. Augustine Beach. It’s a nice place for families.

5. Providence, Rhode Island

This location is pretty underrated, but here you can spend a nice weekend without going broke. This city is filled with art museums, so you won’t get bored if you love this kind of activity. If you are a foodie like me, then you will love the downtown area.

There are tons of places with good food, and some of my recommendations are: Al Forno, Birch, or Nick’s on Broadway, which is pretty famous for the best brunch in town.
