How they keep their commitments
“Keep every promise you make and only make promises you can keep.” And we’re not referring to just wedding vows or swearing under oath but daily commitments that most people make in everyday situations like “I’ll be there in a couple of minutes!” or “I’ll call you when I get home”.
Unfortunately, people make and break promises all the time. If you meet someone who, for whatever reason, can’t seem to stick to their commitments, that should be your cue that a person is not reliable. It’s true that their intentions may be good but their character, sadly, isn’t. People who can’t keep their commitments often lack integrity, character and don’t value other people.
