5 Delicious Things You Won’t Find at McDonald’s Anymore

3. Sundaes

I still remember the good old days when I craved something sweet, refreshing, and not too big, but not too small either, and I would immediately go to McDonald’s to indulge in a fantastic sundae.

Well, it seems that good things weren’t meant to last because you can no longer find this item on the menu. However, I can’t say that I’m very disappointed about this because I prefer McFlurries a lot more.

My favorite is an Oreo McFlurry topped with Reese’s and hot fudge. It’s very sweet and basically a caloric bomb, but it is worth every single bite! Try it out and let me know what you think!

4. 90s Happy Meal Toys

When I was younger, my kids used to love coming with me to McDonald’s so I could get them a happy meal. I only did that when it was their birthday or a special occasion, but they were over the moon each time they got their favorite toy.

Whether I’m talking about Tamagotchis, Teenie Beanies, Sky Dancers, Barbie dolls, or Furbies, those toys were the highlight of their childhood, and I still have some of them in their old rooms. They bring so many beautiful memories! (*sobbing*)

5. McRib

If you love barbecue-flavored pork meat, you surely loved the McRib. Or at least my husband did, and he was so obsessed with this sandwich that was topped with pickles and slivered onions. It was brought to life in 1981 and then discontinued only 4 years later.

It was reintroduced to the menu in 2015, but it didn’t stick. The staff said that they decided to let it go since it contained both beef and pork and they were required to cook them separately. Well, what can I say? My partner was indeed very disappointed.

What do you think about these McDonald’s food items that they no longer have? Were you a fan of any of these? Leave a comment down below, and if I forget to add your favorite to this list, let me know!

  1. The words “McDonald’s” and “delicious” are mutually exclusive. How can a Happy Meal Toy be delicious? Do children eat them?

  2. I have neve seen a McHotDog at any New England McDonald’s. Also, the Big Breakfast is still served here in N.E.
I notice that the Apple Pie has made a slight comeback from the original; no longer like the first but better than the second recipe. My biggest complaints about all fast food restaurants is: the drive thru menu is too far away and, if you are waiting in line, you do not have time to view it without making the other people wait. With the new mobile app it is better, however, that app can sometimes be confusing. They do not give you the option of “light ice”, only 0, regular or 1 other that I cannot remember. My biggest complaint has always been that they stop breakfast at 10:30, even on week-ends. Most people would prefer to have breakfast served all day; I never understood that reasoning for that early cutoff time. The chicken wraps were a good choice because you could get it without the batter which was great if you are dieting; they should come back. Burger King just started a similar version but only have fried. The biscuit is much better than croissants and the muffin are not that great.
I do like the donation choice on the app as I often had given the change before anyway so I can still donate.
