Both of them have their own products that are not available in other countries. And the most surprising aspect of Canadian food for Americans is milk. Why? It’s marketed in plastic bags because it’s less expensive to produce. Usually, a Canadian household will buy 4 liters of milk in three bags.

Poutine is one of those foods that is underappreciated in Canada but unavailable in the United States. Also, a distinctive feature of the US is that here, food portions are bigger than in Canada. It was also statistically proven that an American consumes more food than a Canadian.
