Replace your flooring
Many sellers disregard it, but flooring matters quite a lot when selling a house. Scratched wood flooring, ratty, old carpets and pulled off linoleum will make your house look old and sad and cause potential buyers to scratch your property from their list for good.
The solution to making your flooring more appealing is not expensive. Get rid of old rugs and refinish the hardwood floors, you already have them. If not, opt for laminate flooring, which is way cheaper than hardwood, or ceramic tile flooring which is suitable for hot temperatures as well.
