According to their report, if you list your home at the end of March, you can sell it 18.5 days faster and for one percent more, compared to listing it at different times of the year.
Set a reasonable sell price
Many homeowners believe it’s a good strategy to set the asking price a bit higher so that they can negotiate until they reach the amount that they want. However, real estate agents recommend pricing your home below market value, not above it.
One of the benefits of a lower starting price is that it will give active buyers the impression that the house will sell fast, and they must act as soon as possible to get this hot deal. Another reason is that it urges buyers who know the market to make competitive offers and it allows sellers to negotiate and choose the most profitable option.
