Based on outbreak rates, states and territories are now divided into two categories: Orange and Yellow. The states that are considered to be Orange have daily case rates bigger than 15 per 100,000 people. Since October 1, 2021, all U.S. states are considered to be Orange, except Puerto Rico and California.
The states that are included in the Yellow category have daily case rates under 15 per 100,000 people, which include the two states that are exempted and mentioned above.
People that are traveling from Orange states are required a negative Covid-19 test, no longer than 72 hours before arriving in Chicago. Otherwise, they have to quarantine for 10 days upon arrival.
