The Russian President wanted to pay his sincere respects, so he asked the Prince of Walles to pass on his candid condolences and support to the monarch’s family and the entire population of the United Kingdom.
According to some sources, officials from Great Britain stated that they wouldn’t invite any politicians from Russia to attend the Queen’s funeral. Furthermore, the Kremlin added that their president never actually planned to attend the ceremony.

Another important political figure who commented on this tragic event was Patricia Scotland, the Secretary General of the Commonwealth. She said that the monarch absolutely loved the Commonwealth and she received all the love back from them.

He said that Canada will always consider Her Majesty an important part of their nation’s history. He also stated that she was constantly a significant presence in their lives and that they were deeply saddened by her death.
