5. Travel purchases
Since 2020, traveling has become strange, and with all the restrictions going on, a lot of businesses started adopting card-only payments. Paying with cash can be tricky because money is dirty, and if something happens (God forbid) and you lose it or get robbed, you will have no other option available. Everything has disappeared as if you never had those funds. And besides being frustrating and annoying, you will be in a different country or state without any money. To avoid this, carry as little money as possible with you when traveling.
Furthermore, many credit card companies are willing to assist you with your expense accounts if your luggage is lost. Booking a hotel room with a credit card might also bring you some discounts.
