If you’re a fan of celebrity news and Hollywood scandals, then you’re probably aware of the relationship between Madonna and the actor Sean Penn. Although they had a wonderful beginning to their relationship, Penn’s horrible behavior and temper tantrums caused it to quickly deteriorate soon after their wedding. And one of the worst things that happened in December 1989, exactly on New Year’s Eve, was that the pop star was found beaten and gagged in Penn’s apartment. Apparently he was drunk, and he wanted to make her stay by tying her up to a chair.
Even though the police and Madonna’s close friends stated that the event was horrific, years later, Madonna denied everything. Why? I guess we will never know. Maybe she really loved Sean, and she wanted to cover everything that was bad between them. Who knows?
