If a vaccine gets the green light, will my life go back to normal?

As much as we would like to give an affirmative answer to this question, the truth is life cannot go back to normal, at least not for a while. The FDA is expected to give their authorization sometime next month, but this doesn’t change much.

People will still have to wear face masks, comply with social distancing measures, wash their hands, sanitize items and stick to whatever safety rules authorities ask of them, to slow down the spread of COVID-19 in 2021. Since no vaccine is 100 percent sure, the rules also apply to vaccinated people. Notwithstanding the global population, experts estimate 192 million people in the United States alone (around 60 percent) would either need to receive the vaccine or recover from COVID-19 in order to form herd immunity and stop its spread.

We still have a long way to go, but at least there’s hope that there will be a treatment for this devastating virus and that this crisis will eventually come to an end. These 10 Things Should Cut Off Your Panic About Coronavirus and help you see the light at the end of the tunnel.
