Protests in other cities

In Indianapolis, an armed man fired at the protesters, killing one person and injuring three others. In Chicago, angry protesters vandalized businesses, set them on fire and threw urine at police officers. In Louisville, Ky., a man was shot as the police and National Guard troops tried to disperse a large crowd overnight Sunday and returned fire.

In Santa Monica, Long Beach, and in Manhattan, various stores including Walmart and Best Buy were vandalized and groups of looters stole everything they could get their hands on.

President Trump gave an ultimatum to Minneapolis protesters on Friday and warned the riots might be suppressed by the armed forces.

“I can’t stand back & watch this happen to a great American City,” Mr. Trump said. “A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard & get the job done right.”
