The coronavirus pandemic has changed our lives dramatically, forcing us to adjust to new situations like the minor such as washing your hands frequently and for more than 20 seconds, to the major such as working from home and online schooling.

Additionally, among the things that have changed because of COVID-19, it’s worth mentioning how grocery shopping looked very different this year. As you’ve seen in the title, one of the most trusted names in the industry is bringing back what customers have requested since Walmart changed its policy earlier in March because of COVID-19.

The first good news would be that Walmart will be extending its hours in mid-November, according to a post made on their account. The only scenario in which Walmart doesn’t extend its hours is if government regulations don’t allow them to do so.

“Starting November 14, Walmart stores and Neighborhood Markets will be open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. until further notice,” the company tweeted on Oct. 23. “This will give customers more time to shop and help us disperse traffic throughout the day. Stores with more reduced hours will keep current hours of operation.”

At the moment, Walmart is open from 7 a.m to 10 p.m. Walmart has also mentioned that they will include a special hour for people over 60 and older to shop, considering they’re more vulnerable to COVID-19. This special hour will be held before the store opens, and they will have full aces to pharmacies and vision centers as well.

Also, Walmart will continue to introduce health and safety measures for its customers, such as health screenings, social distancing, plastic barriers at the registers, and face masks will be mandatory in-store.
