Joseph ‘Beau’ Biden
Biden named his eldest son Joseph, just like himself, even if he was better known for Beau. Beau had a widely impressive military career, as he joined the Army National Guard as a major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps back in 2003.
The same as his father, Beau got involved in politics, becoming the 44th attorney general of Delaware, from 2007 to 2015. He worked with Kamala Harris, who was at the time the attorney general in California.
Biden was a strong believer in his son’s political prospects, saying more than once that he “was pretty sure Beau will run for president one day, and with his brother’s help, he could actually win.” according to The Hill.
