4. Hannibal’s Kitchen- Charleston, South Carolina
This amazing low-cost restaurant has been around since 1985 and is owned by a couple of nice people who are trying to create delicious versions of South Carolina’s traditional Lowcountry cuisine, which is distinguished by a wide variety of fresh local seafood and strong African influences.
This inexpensive bowl of culture and history, the simple but delectable crab rice that you can find at the amazing price of $8.25, is made of fluffy, steaming Carolina rice that has been covered in a hearty stew of sweet, local blue crab flesh. Mmm… I am already hungry! If you are around this area, don’t forget to give this restaurant a try!
