Although Denmark is actually a cool, modern country, you are allowed to name your kid any one of those 7,000 approved names, but if you want something that stands out, you’re going to need permission first. If you are somehow thinking about naming your kid Monkey, Pluto, or even Jakobp, you have to know that they are completely banned. How weird is that?

2.Villages in Scandinavia 

Continue on the Icelandic path of Europe. Believe it or not, 10 villages located in Scandinavia have the shortest names in the entire globe: just one letter! How is that possible, you ask? Well, it is. There is a city named Å that translates as “river” and another one named, Ö which means “island,” and it’s located in Sweden.
