Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s leading infectious diseases expert, also said that “the risk of getting infected if you are vaccinated and outdoors is extremely low,” which makes it possible for vaccinated people to attend outdoor gatherings, dine at outdoor restaurants and the like without masks.
