Rap Artist Tupac Shakur was shot dead on September 7th, 1996 and died from the injuries six days later. After watching a Mike Tyson boxing match with former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight, the notorious rapper and his bodyguards got into a brawl with the Crips gang member Orlando Anderson in a Las Vegas casino lobby.
A few hours later, Anderson allegedly shot Tupac who was in the front passenger seat of Suge’s BMW. The first police officer to arrive at the scene claimed the last thing the rapper said was not something he expected to hear from a dying person. “He looked at me, and he took a breath to get the words out, and he opened his mouth,” recalled the now-retired sergeant, “And then the words came out: ‘F**k you.'”
Anderson never admitted to killing Tupac and was never charged. In 1998, he was shot dead outside a car wash in Compton.
