Stay away from dark grey kitchens
“Fifty Shades of Grey” is interesting, but dark shades of grey might not, especially when it comes to redecorating our kitchen. Dark grey walls are not suitable in any home and if you own a house with small rooms then you can opt for another color or hue.
According to Gintaras Steponkus, a marketing manager at Solid Guides, dark grey kitchens can “stimulate depression, loss, or inhospitality.”
There’s no value in making the next color choice…..

I had an idea to paint the ceilings in all rooms and halls one color–off-white veined with gold–and use a different color in each room. A color I’d pick for a study, library or man cave was favored by the Romans–a Venetian or brick red, maybe russet ..

You probably should not paint any exterior surfaces in sea; brown…unless you don’t mind your place being mistaken for a UPS facility.

This also depends upon whose bathroom we’re discussing. In a child’s bathroom, white would be a problem. But I’ve used it in a master bath with fabulous results; white doors, a wall of built in cabinets in white & bath & shower surround & vanity in white Carrera marble. The room had a bright, spacious & relaxing feel.
The author hasn’t been to New Mexico or Texas. Most houses are a shade of brown inside & out.
