There is no exception for the home office
Well, there are a lot of people who work from home these days because of the coronavirus outbreak and some of them choose to work in their comfortable home office. But it seems that home offices with white walls are not a good idea, because that white paint can lead to fatigue, drowsiness and lack of concentration. So, if your job involves using your computer and staying at the office all day, you better use another color in that room.
“Bright white surrounding you on every wall can contribute to feelings of anxiety, alongside causing eye fatigue over time. White may also seem to be a good option for making a room seem bigger; however, it can actually make a room feel lifeless and boxy by exaggerating shadows,” said Marty Basher, a design expert with Modular Closets.
The next color choice is a hard sell…..

Pink tile bathrooms!
I had an idea to paint the ceilings in all rooms and halls one color–off-white veined with gold–and use a different color in each room. A color I’d pick for a study, library or man cave was favored by the Romans–a Venetian or brick red, maybe russet ..

You probably should not paint any exterior surfaces in sea; brown…unless you don’t mind your place being mistaken for a UPS facility.
Chocolate brown houses are as classic as architecture itself starting with log cabins To early barns and farm houses and classic tudors and Lake Lodge homes.. dark brown homes are classic so they are not as popular and fashionable at this time due to younger less educated and historically inappreciative people …I believe they will always survive if you look in any historic district or places like Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts you can educate yourself to know that chocolate brown was popular and will continue to be popular long before UPS was even in existence and you’re loose association with it is inappropriate and as important as comparing a gray home with a prison floor or a green home with the US Army all colors have their proper place on the right Home with people who have studied color for years and don’t allow their personal emotions to get involved with color selection. We have color trends and we have color style and there was a world that existed way before retro ranches which I happen to appreciate that includes early colonial homes and even early 70s ranches or contemporaries or lake cottages that embraced chocolate brown. Historic homes were often painted dark brown with barn red trim …do your research and maybe you might appreciate it more but I doubt it …reducing dark brown by comparing it with UPS may sound humorous but it’s completely disrespectful to a color that’s always been important in American architecture.

This also depends upon whose bathroom we’re discussing. In a child’s bathroom, white would be a problem. But I’ve used it in a master bath with fabulous results; white doors, a wall of built in cabinets in white & bath & shower surround & vanity in white Carrera marble. The room had a bright, spacious & relaxing feel.
The author hasn’t been to New Mexico or Texas. Most houses are a shade of brown inside & out.
It depends who is using the bathroom. Children ? White is a big “no.”
But it’s great for a master bath. A wall of built ins, white doors on the closet, & white Carrera marble for the tub & shower surround & vanity gave the room a bright, airy & relaxing vibe.
Definitely not in the baby’s bedroom.
Pretty limited understanding of color. Any room can be any color if one knows how to furnish it.
