There is no exception for the home office
Well, there are a lot of people who work from home these days because of the coronavirus outbreak and some of them choose to work in their comfortable home office. But it seems that home offices with white walls are not a good idea, because that white paint can lead to fatigue, drowsiness and lack of concentration. So, if your job involves using your computer and staying at the office all day, you better use another color in that room.
“Bright white surrounding you on every wall can contribute to feelings of anxiety, alongside causing eye fatigue over time. White may also seem to be a good option for making a room seem bigger; however, it can actually make a room feel lifeless and boxy by exaggerating shadows,” said Marty Basher, a design expert with Modular Closets.
The next color choice is a hard sell…..

white walls are the best, yes it shows dirt etc, but that’s why you clean the walls on a regular basis.
Definitely not in the baby’s bedroom.
It depends who is using the bathroom. Children ? White is a big “no.”
But it’s great for a master bath. A wall of built ins, white doors on the closet, & white Carrera marble for the tub & shower surround & vanity gave the room a bright, airy & relaxing vibe.
The author hasn’t been to New Mexico or Texas. Most houses are a shade of brown inside & out.
This also depends upon whose bathroom we’re discussing. In a child’s bathroom, white would be a problem. But I’ve used it in a master bath with fabulous results; white doors, a wall of built in cabinets in white & bath & shower surround & vanity in white Carrera marble. The room had a bright, spacious & relaxing feel.

You probably should not paint any exterior surfaces in sea; brown…unless you don’t mind your place being mistaken for a UPS facility.
