You don’t necessarily have to be a member
A year-long membership may not be what you’re looking for just so you could be able to shop at Costco from time to time. Worry not, because you don’t even need one.
Costco allows members to bring up guests, so simply find someone who has a membership subscription and tag along. If you want to buy something, the Costco member will have to buy it for you as membership cards are verified at checkout.
However, there is another way if you wish to shop on your own. Initially, you’d still have to get help from your Costco friend to purchase a Costco Cash Card for you but after that, you’re free as a bird to roam the aisles and compare prices. Such cards work like cash and can be bought for as little as $25 (and go up to a whopping$1,000). They can be used to enter, shop and pay at any Costco store. It’s also valid for online shopping.
