No more paper boarding passes

Given that the virus can last on paper for up to twenty-four hours, it’s better to use mobile boarding passes instead of paper ones. Airlines might turn this into a mandatory thing to minimize touching points between airline employees and travelers. “We are encouraging customers to self-scan boarding passes,” JetBlue said in a statement. “You can download a mobile boarding pass on the JetBlue app to further reduce touching points.”

No more warm towels in first class

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of flying first class, you know first-class passengers definitely have it better than those stuck in economy.  One of the things you got to enjoy at first-class was those refreshing, warm towels. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, most airlines suspended their towel service. “The towels are typically heated using water from the jet’s tank, which can be a breeding ground for bacteria,” according to The National. We’ll just have to wait and see if the hot towels are ever going to make a reappearance after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.
