Texas Desert
“Texas is, in fact, not a giant desert. We have cities, suburbs, and grass like anywhere else. Not to say that it doesn’t exist at all here, it’s just way more varied than a lot of people might think.” “The Lone Star State” is not at all flat and boring as some might think. Its western areas are actually heavily forested with lakes and bayous. And if you’ve ever heard the song “Show me a home where the buffalo roam…” you’d know it’s not a desert because buffalos are definitely not desert animals, are they?
Wild Weather
“In the Midwest, the weather is crazy. For example, last year in Iowa, the temperate one day was -50 F°. Normal, right? Well in about three days, the temperature was POSITIVE 50 F°. Don’t ask how just accept it.” From 78 degrees on Monday to snow on Tuesday, weather swings are quite common in the central United States. That’s not something someone from a place with constant temperatures and no sudden weather changes can understand.
