Use newspaper to get rid of lint
Another useful tip to have squeaky clean windows is to use newspapers instead of paper towels. “Newspaper is a great towel alternative because its dense fiber won’t leave behind the tiny strands that towels do,” says Kvarnlov.
Old newspapers are highly absorbent, meaning that they absorb the liquid (water, cleaning solution) instead of spreading it around, leaving a trail of lint across the glass. Not to mention they are an eco-friendly option to paper towels.
