Don’t bother with the manufacturer coupons
Manufacturer coupons are great tools if you want to save some money, particularly when you combine them with supermarket sales. Unfortunately, this method will not pan out at Costco because the company policy does not allow the use of manufacturer’s coupons or discount coupons from other retailers.
However, Costco members do get to benefit from the use of some coupons. The warehouse club has its own coupons which can be obtained from a monthly printed booklet sent in the mail or downloaded from Costco.com. These coupons provide discounts on all sorts of products from toothpaste to televisions and can be viewed and redeemed in-store or online via Costco’s smartphone app, which is available now to download from your app store.
Wait aminute — I thought the items on sale in the booklet were the actual price of those items during the sale time noted. You didn’t need to show the booklet but it was automatically charged at that price. Am I wrong?
