Usually, coughing shouldn’t be an immediate sign for you that you might be suffering from cancer. It can be associated with a lot of things such as a simple cold. But if the coughing is persistent and it has nothing to do with the cold season, then seeing a doctor is the right thing to do.

According to specialists, a persistent cough can be one of the signs of lung cancer. You should pay attention if any changes in your cough appear, especially if you’re a smoker. A deep cough should really concern you.

If the cough persists for more than three weeks, schedule an appointment with a doctor.
