Another thing President Bush did and was very appreciated by many citizens was one of his initiatives, called the Americans with Disabilities Act, which was an important piece of legislation regarding the civil-right for people.
He signed the document in the month of July 1990 and he managed to help people with handicaps access to different opportunities and facilities that many American citizens took as given.
Besides that, stairs, curbs, doors, signage, and employment laws were adjusted across the country over the next 2 decades as feedback to the bipartisan-backed measure.

The population saw that George W. H. Bush was indeed smart and knew how to handle different external problems, but they said that the president didn’t seem very involved in something that mattered to them, such as domestic issues.
People were upset that he promised them that he wouldn’t be raising taxes, but he couldn’t keep his promise and decided to break it and sign a deal that would raise upper-income Americans’ taxes.
However, we might say that although he did some things that people were not happy about, he managed to make the Bush family an important one in the history of the United States, especially given the fact that his son, George W. Bush, was also the president of the country for 8 years, between 2001 and 2009.
