1. New Zealand

As of 21st October 2021, 891 cases of patients diagnosed with Covid-19 were reported in New Zealand, including 868 community cases that are being managed. According to new vaccination data, the rural populations from New Zealand are less safe than from the new coronavirus, compared to those who live in urban areas.

Pursuant to www.nzherald.co.nz, in the North Island suburbs, less than 50% of the residents are fully vaccinated, while in the urban suburbs, the average says that at least 50% of people are completely vaccinated against Covid-19.

2. Romania

By 21st October 2021, in Romania have been reported over 1,5 million of Covid-19 cases and 1,2 million of them have been declared cured. The overall situation is not good at all, given the fact that people who are not vaccinated aren’t allowed to leave their home after 8 pm on weekends. Also, the school is completely online and the cinemas and restaurants are only open for those who have their green certificate.

3. Asia

In the few last months, many regions from Asia have been hit by a new wave of Covid-19 cases. The infections are caused by the new delta variant. Because of that, lockdown measures and restrictions have determined the shut down of many factories.

TAKEAWAY

When it comes to the new coronavirus, we can never be sure of anything. Some days we might not have new cases at all, while some days the hospitals are full with patients. Even though some countries let themselves live a life that is more like the one we were used to before the pandemic hit, we aren’t sure that the virus won’t develop other variants, besides Delta. Until people will understand the importance of the vaccine against Covid-19, we will still have restrictions on and off.
