Credit cards can provide certain protections when it comes to big-ticket purchases. But only if you can afford to pay it off right away and in full. Otherwise, steer clear of any major purchases that will only increase your interest and ultimately, your overall debt.
A credit card is not your easy access to an extravagant lifestyle. You’ll have to pay back every dime and then some. If you don’t actually have the financial means, aka cash, to pay for that exotic vacation or that flat-screen TV, keep the plastics deep inside your wallet.
You’d better secure your thinking before trying the next one…..

Actually, I did buy a car once using a credit card because it was the only way I could get a car. After the purchase, another credit card made me an offer to give me a low interest rate if I were to switch my credit card debt to that one, which I did. I didn’t use the new card to buy anything until after the car paid off.
So what can i buy with a credit card then?
I would add: any service or purchase that offers a discount for cash payment
