The funds are not going to be a problem.
It seems like whether or not Kamala Harris is going to be the Democratic nominee, the funding for the campaign is not going to be an issue.
Not only is there talk about how Harris will be able to access the funds that were raised by the Biden campaign since she was also in it to continue being VP, but once the announcement for her endorsement by Biden was made, donations started to roll in for the Democratic party.
After the Biden-Trump debate, a lot of the grassroots and large donors have started to back out. But once Biden backed away from the race, the Democratic money machine was locked in and printing!
The enthusiasm of Democrats helped them not only cover the money they have lost due to the debate but also bring in many more.
The primary Democratic fundraising platform, ActBlue, has announced that Sunday was the best day of fundraising that they have seen in the entire 2024 cycle.
The new Harris presidential campaign has also announced that they have raised at least $50 million in online donations for the cause, and we bet that the numbers are even higher now.
And the good news for the Dems? This influx of donations has also spurred a boost for the down-ballot candidates due to their supporters’ enthusiasm.
Future Forward, the democratic super PAC, has also announced that they have newly committed funds of around $150 million, which just adds to their existing funds.
All of these are only good news for the Harris campaign.
