Numbers and names don’t lie

Six of his former Cabinet secretaries collaborated and were involved with writing the 900-page playbook that would become the “Bible” of Trump’s second term. The book is published by the Heritage Foundation.

Four individuals Trump picked as ambassadors were involved as well, along with other enforcers of his controversial immigration crackdown. Around 20 pages are credited to his first deputy chief of staff.

As a matter of fact, a minimum of 140 people who worked in the Trump administration had their hands deep into Project 2025, according to a CNN review, which also includes over half of the people listed as authors, editors, or simply contributors to “Mandate for Leadership”, which is the project’s extensive manifesto for overhauling the executive branch.

On top of that, dozens more who staffed Trump’s government also hold positions within conservative groups known to advise Project 2025, including his former chief of staff mark Meadows, and longtime adviser Stephen Miller.

All these groups also include lawyers deeply involved in Trump’s relentless attempts to stay in power, like his impeachment attorney Jay Sekulow and two of the legal architects of his failed bid to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
