Stimulus money for adults over 65, including dependents
As defined by the IRS, older adult refers to anyone aged 65 or older at the end of 2020, eligible to pay taxes that year and beyond. According to the new relief plan, older adults, including recipients of Supplemental Security Income or Social Security Disability Insurance, can get up to $1,400 stimulus money, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
If you are claimed as an adult dependent on someone else’s tax form 1040, you are also eligible for stimulus checks. Something you should also know is that the money you are owed will add up to the household’s total stimulus payment.
