7. Use Target’s “Price Match Guarantee”
On every in-person and online purchase, Target provides customers with its Price Match Guarantee. If you discover an item for less at one of Target’s chosen competitors, either at the moment of purchase or 14 days later, you can request a price match. Simply present evidence of the lower price, and Target will reduce your purchase price. That’s great, because this is definitely a great way to keep your customers close.
8. Shop for the holidays early or late
Do you need an almost-free Halloween, Christmas, or a cute Easter basket? Then wait to purchase them a couple of days after the holidays are over, when all the prices on festive items will be reduced by 50%. However, if you are patient and wait a week or so, you may be able to get 70% off. Now that’s a bargain! Then, if there are any items remaining, they will go to 90% off, which is basically free, a few days later.
If you’re new to the area and don’t know about or rarely shop at Target, you should be aware that there are a few additional holidays that give discounts on nearly all items, including Valentine’s Day, back-to-school, and the end of the summer just before the holidays.
