Studying Abroad
With almost 40,000 Americans studying in the U.K. Brexit is unlikely to deter American students from attending such venerable institutions like Oxford, Cambridge or St Andrews universities.
If the Johnson government doesn’t negotiate provisions for the 130,000 Europeans currently studying in the U.K. they could lose access to reduced British tuition rates.
This would greatly benefit Americans wishing to further their education at these centuries old bastions of knowledge. With the loss of a great number of EU students, British universities will be keen to replenish their numbers, therefore they might be eagerly looking for additional students from other parts of the world.
