13. Escape tool
In these times, cars are modern machines that are packed with all the safety features and technologies that will help make the driving experience as safe as possible. Unfortunately, accidents can happen even though your car may be the newest generation because even a second of not paying attention can lead to disasters.
You can never know when you will find yourself in a situation where you are stuck inside your vehicle. It may take some time for emergency services to come and rescue you, and anytime you’re involved in an accident, every second counts.
Having a car escape tool near you might help you before the specialists come. It is better to keep it in your glove box, attached to your keychain, in your center console, somewhere near you, because one day it might save your life.
Most car escape tools will allow you to cut your seat belt and break one of the windows. This way you will be able to get out of your car fast before panic sets in and you start thinking about what happened.

There is something I was told several years ago. When I tried to tell others about it, they just laughed at me. One other item you should carry a pair of pantyhose. If you have a belt break, the pantyhose will stretch enough to replace the broken fan belt or any other belt.
A gallon jug of H2o, a few extra warm clothing items; a hat, warm gloves and maybe a warm jacket.
Don’t laugh….but I also keep two rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, hand sanitizer, and a few empty large plastic contianers..in my trunk….along with most of what you have suggested….thanks…
