Plastic tea bags
Tea bags are quite convenient but not all types are safe. According to a 2019 research carried out by McGill University in Montreal, a single sample can contain billions of microscopic plastic particles which seep into the water when brewing the tea. More research is necessary on the health effects of such microparticles, but until then, do you really want to be the Guinee pig?
Instead of using shady plastic tea bags, opt for ones made of natural fiber which are woven shut. They are eco-friendly and won’t jeopardize your health, either.
