This is definitely common sense, and you shouldn’t do it. Don’t leave your belongings unattended, even if we’re talking about a short period of time, like a visit to the bathroom. If you leave it unattended, the airport police will take it away.
Don’t forget to always take the bags with you!
5. Don’t leave your laptop at security
A lot of TSA security checkpoints require that all laptops and other devices be placed in a separate bin, but a lot of people forget to put them back in their bags. According to a recent statistic, approximately 12,000 people forget a lot of stuff in the airport.
A lot of them forget their phones. Weird, right? I mean, who would leave their phone?
Be well prepared when you get to security. You know, just to get through it faster.

All of the aforementioned can be avoided if you can take a train instead. No getting to the station hours beforehand, no security checks, no drinking before hand. etc. Just show up at the station five minutes before train time, board train and go.
