7. Not tipping enough (or at all)
Please don’t show up to a restaurant without extra cash! It’s very rude, especially if the waiter was polite and nice to you and brought you what you ordered in a very short time. There is a general rule for this, which is to tip 15 to 20% of the pre-tax bill.
Get in the habit of giving at least this amount and make sure you will tip even higher if the service is good.
You will make someone happy, plus you’ll be returning there another time too.
8.Texting during a meal
This may seem acceptable just because everybody does it. But it’s wrong and rude! It makes the others feel weird and it may look like they aren’t worth your time at all. It is also not the best way to form bonds or communicate with your friends. Put that phone away and try to enjoy each other’s company.
Or make a general rule to tuck all the phones away while you are out for lunch, and whoever touches it first has to pay for the whole order. It will be fun!
