2. St. Augustine Lighthouse, St. Augustine
A lot of places are rumored to be haunted, but no other is more iconic than a lighthouse. And if you saw the movie of the same name from 2019, you know what I mean! St. Augustine Lighthouse was built 148 years ago and has a quite interesting story, which happens to be the most popular one. It is frequently told about a lighthouse keeper’s daughters who perished in the water, but their bodies were never found. Today’s visitors claim to have heard footsteps in the lighthouse and heard laughter while no one else was present. Simply thinking of this sends a shiver down my spine!
