6. Tuna Twist
Did you love tuna as a kid, or maybe your mom was trying to force you to eat it? Then you must recall the Tuna Twist, which shook the world in the early 1970s. The seasoning combined a blend of veggies, herbs, and spices, and it came in three flavors: onion, cheddar, and Italian. All you had to do was add your can of tuna, mayonnaise, and a pack of tuna twist. This item was marketed as a meal extender, and it turned four tuna sandwiches into six.
Let’s not forget about the commercials, which were pretty catchy and funny! But there was a problem with this product because it contained a vegetable protein that made people sick, and it was removed from the shelves.
