I think that you are definitely on the right track… My opinion is leaning towards a “hit” ordered by the CIA. That “grassy knoll” that everyone was talking about but was never clearly revealed. The actual photos of the shooting show bullets directly hitting JKF from the front and the rear. There aren’t any photos that can show a “hit” from above. Similar to the Oswald shooting there was Jack Ruby as a “scapegoat”… but other forces were behind the whole thing.
Isn’t interesting that the spent shell casings left behind by Oswald on the 6th floor were found all together and lined up next to one another in a straight line? Tippet when the house lights came on in the theatre where he (Oswald) was watching the movie “War is hell”and at that time he just so happened to have a snub nose .38 revolver on his person? The House Select Committe on the assassination concluded years later that there was at least one shot from the front. Kennedy clutches his throat and then the headshot comes. I know that today we laugh at the crazy conspiracy theorists but this one was real. I’ve read many books on the assassination, including one by a doctor who was at Parkland Hospital, in which he writes how the body was doctored between Dallas and Washington in order to prove Arlen Specter’s single bullet theory. Oswald barely made it through rifle training in the Army. That along with the fact the gun that was found was so out of aim it could’nt have hit the far side of a barn. I read a biography of J Edgar Hoover and it was very interesting that the people he hated were victims of the few successful assassinations. MLK and JFK were two. He supposedly had connections with the mob and some of the FBI agents were moved from strategic positions. Hoover insisted on being in on all details in protecting JFK, so he could have moved those agents.

I’ve stood in the street on top of the white painted “X” marking the spot where JFK was hit, and I’ve visited the museum located on the 6th floor of the old schoolbook depository building overlooking Dealy Plaza in Dallas. The “sniper’s nest” is behind a glass enclosure, but I stood right next to it within a few feet. When I looked out the window, I had the same view as Oswald allegedly had. What amazed me the most was how incredibly close the target would have been, and that it would not have been I difficult shot at all. I was a little girl when JFK was assassinated. That horrible day left a huge impression on me so as I became an adult I began digging in, investigating every piece of material I could get my hands on. I read at least a dozen books by others who were investigating as well. As a young adult I had no desire to blame anyone, I only wanted the truth. You should as well. One book and one persons opinion won’t get you the truth.

The best books I have read on the assassination was “Case Closed” by Gerald Posner. It goes into great detail including conspiracy theories. There was a documentary narrated by Walter Cronkite goes over the assassination. I will have to check into “Reclaiming History”.
Unfortunately, the average simpleton cannot comprehend a “lone wolf” explanation because it makes them uncomfortable that one crazy person can alter human history in such a dramatic way. Even though the evidence is overwhelming that Oswald acted alone, by the year 2100, folklore will bump the number of people convinced it was a conspiracy to 80%.

Within a year of Kennedy’s murder there were 185,000 of us there and the number escalated wildly from that point (Google for verification). You are correct. I was 19 years old when President Kennedy was assassinated. I believed then as well as now that this was done with the cooperation of our Federal Government, in particular the FBI.
Unfortunately, the people who know the TRUE facts about this assassination are now dead.
They are just more careful now and are protected in their cars. Too bad those days of less violence are gone forever. I believe I was at work when it happened.

I agree. We should use whatever science has improved over the last 57 years. My son was 20 days old so I was home and watched the whole thing on tv. I never believed that Oswald did it. It was unbelievable!! And I don’t understand why his family didn’t do more to find out the truth.

For some reason, judges are very very hesitant to reopen cases even when we do have new evidence or even * might * be able to shed some new light on a crime. People who work to try to free innocent people who were wrongly convicted and are living in prison- have to almost solve the entire crime themselves before a judge will agree to take another look!

I believe it was the accidental firing of the secret service agents rifle who was in the trailing auto, even though it was stated no weapons were near the president. In one photo the trailing agent is seen with a rifle. I believe he accidently fired as a reflex action upon hearing the gunshot. Witnesses nearby claimed to have smelled gunpowder which could not have come from the book depository.

I can answer your comment. The crime was fostered by three people. John Edgar Hoover, Lyndon Baines Johnson and Allen Welch Dulles. Dulles was the brains and the planner. He is the only one with the background and experience to carry it out. It was complex. Hoover was to provide forensic back-up. Johnson was to be able to squash any investigation by becoming President after the last shot. Dulles planned everything else. The shooting was a typical ambush. I was in the 11th grade when it happened. I remember the film showing one secret service man or policeman heading up toward what was called the grassy knoll because they thought the shots came from there. Oswald I think shot Kennedy but there was more than one shooter. Oswald was murdered to keep him quite and I think his killer was given cancer in prison to keep him from talking. Johnson hated the Kennedy’s. Of that there is no doubt, but he was to drunk and stupid to put an assassination together without screwing it up. That is why Mr. Dulles, (good friend and member of the council of the 33rd along with J. Edgar Hoover and Johnson) planned the plot for many good reasons. Johnson owed a lot to political support and also he was facing a federal indictment for his collusion in numerous crimes. By replacing Kennedy, he could prevent himself from being indicted, but only because he had the “goods” on a lot of other people. Hoover would provide back-up support, but only if it didn’t jeopardize his precious FBI. Dulles had it in for the Kennedy’s ever since Joe Kennedy was appointed to Ambassador to the Court of St. James(England). As a Presbyterian he could not fathom an Irish Catholic in that position. I still have the TV Guide with photos and news reports on the day JF Kennedy was shot. I was working at Western Electric when we were all pulled off the line and given the news of Kennedy’s death. There were a lot of different ideals going around about his death and I don’t believe we will ever know the real reason behind it. JF Kennedy was the first president I was old enough to vote for and I believe he could have made a lot of difference but such is life here today gone tomorrow. Even though he was a good president while here he wasn’t a very faith full husband which was the case in most of the Kennedy’ men.

Their visits were usually on a Thursday and not on same Thursday except for one instance and brother Robert was called to get one to quietly leave. Supposedly neither knew about the other. The true story had nothing to do with Mr. Oswald. He was set up to take the fall. If you go back and study some of the information and try to separate it from the general BS that flew around the Dealy Plaza at the time plus a few days, you would see that something other than the cover story actually happened. No one has been able to discover the source and purpose of the first shot. The one that over flew the car and hit the far curb. The one that the city of Dallas replaced the next day. Or the copy of Life magazine from from February 21, 1964 that was recalled off the newsstands and picked up from the subscribers and replaced with a re-edited version. The reason was the photo of the neck tie in the original copy indicated that the shot came from the front and then went thru Kennedy’s throat and exited the back, thus making the hole in the back of the seat behind where Kennedy was sitting.

We will never know the truth. Secret service agents rushed the Presidents body out of Dallas Hospital before autopsies could be performed. Too many lose ends and too many coincidences for one to believe otherwise. Here it is over 50 years later and we know no more than we did back then.

I know the location of the spent casing fired from the Grassy Knoll and left in front of the fence where the shooter couldn’t retrieve it. That casing would match the round that hit Kennedy front the right front, proving that no one fired from the School Book Bldg. The right rear shooter that hit Kennedy was fired from behind the motorcade a block away.
All the comments I’ve read, and no one mentioned photo #11, which was taken from the front of the motorcade. You can tell it’s after the first or second shot because Kennedy is clutching his throat. In the background is the school book building, where they say Oswald fired from the sixth floor. Check out the guy standing in the doorway at ground level. Looks like Oswald to me.

Oswald’s rile amo was a solid through and through bullet. The bullet hole in Kennedy’s skull showed a smaller bullet than Oswald’s rifle. The bullet was made to explode it’s load on impact. Also the position of the hole in his skull showed that the angle of the fatal shot was on the same level as Kennedy. It was traced back using ballistic techniques showed the bullet came from car behind Kennedy. It was when shots started. SS Agent jumped up with AK15 rifle, which was confirmed by SS agents that gun was in car always ready to use no sacked engaged. Pictures exist of SS agent holding gun in speeding car to hospital and at hospital in the halway.
The very sad truth is that President Kennedy would have died without fatal shot because it severed his spinal column, which is why his arms jumped and his hands were fists. Modern medical techniques were used to dertermine that through the existing photographs. The poor man who accidentally shot him denied it. It was a horrible accident.

You should include a photo of the frame from the Zapruder film showing the large traffic sign on the grassy knoll going from perfectly focused to vibrating completely out of focus–while everything else remained in focus–as the second shot was fired. The sign disappeared the next day. The sign and the pristine bullet found on the gurney next to Kennedy’s body in the hospital–a bullet proven to have been fired from the rifle but supposedly having smashed through multiple bones–are conclusive evidence there was more than one shooter and a coverup. Not to mention the sealed autopsy, which was supposed to be released 50 years after the assassination.

A friend and I were students, at the University of Maryland, and took two transit buses from College Park, MD. to see Kennedy’s funeral procession in D.C.. It was very very cold and the streets were packed with people. We took turns climbing onto the base of a light pole just to try to see what we could. Everyone around us was crying and shivering. It took us a few hours to get back to College Park, MD. We witnessed the saddest part of a history that our young lives had ever seen. When Kennedy’s coffin passed by us, think we all could hardly breathe. For sure that is a day in our young lives that we would never forget.

I was nine years old when President Kennedy was assassinated. But even at nine, I knew there was more afoot than Lee Harvey Oswald being the lone assassin. More afoot, than Jack Ruby being able to get close enough to murder Oswald. I’ve never believed the Warren Commission’s findings. Not to this day.
I remember this asassination. From the beginning I had 2 questions:
Did Oswald start the job at the Book Depository Before of After the parade route was created.
Answer. He started working there Before the route was announced but After the route was created. Clearly, some people knew the Kennedy motorcade would be passing by that building before Oswald started working there….
2nd Question: After the shooting, when Oswald ran home, why on earth did he run back outside when he knew the whole world was looking for him? Answer: Possibly because he had unfinished business. He had the other shooter to take out. The Officer Tipett shooting was no coincidence. Why would he shoot an Officer while he was on the run? It is well settled that Tippett was known to Jack Ruby. Leaving no trail behind, Oswald may have been instructed to take out the second shooter – his back-up in the grassy knoll.
If you think Oswald acted alone, I have a bridge to sell you. Oswald wasn’t on the sixth floor. Mac Wallace was. Mac Wallace was LBJ’s personal hitman. LBJ was invested in the assasination because if he wasn’t president, he would be in prison. The Mafia was pissed at the Kennedy’s because they had helped get JFK elected and now RFK was bringing lots of heat on them. The CIA was involved because JFK had said he was going to disband it and scatter it to the wind. The CIA was also involved in the RFK assasination.

Oswald was not capable to orchestrate the assassination of Kennedy. We must ask ourselves why was complete information put on hold for 100 years at which time all information would be revealed. I went through the whole set of 28 offered pictures and only saw about 3 that even came close to haunting about the Kennedy assentation. How can A picture of a bullet, the front of a car, people laying on the ground looking at something, and someone holding up what looks like a WW2 rifle, be haunting? After 50+ years you would think that the truth about this event in history could be covered up completely, and yet bit and pieces of the truth keep poping up causing someone to put out this generic misinformation. I am to the point where I believe almost nothing I am told ( the official version) of what happened and only a very little of what I see conveyed about an event like this, especially through the much edited TV information.

The DNA would prove that Kennedy is not buried in Arlington Cemetery. It is Dallas police officer J D Tippet. Tippet was a body double of JFK. Because there were multiple shooters, making it a conspiracy, they switched bodies so that when Tippet arrived at Bethesda Naval Hospital for the autopsy the doctors didn’t find a large head wound or multiple wounds from different directions. Plus, within minutes after the shooting, how did they believe that Oswald did it??
I was in a civics class when President Kennedy was elected. I was in my senior English class when the announcement was made of his assassination. I was young but I believed President Kennedy could and would have created changes for the USA that we really needed and would be continued for years. I don’t believe that the actual events were some of the things that have been put in books and documentaries. I do believe there is more to it that our government knew/knows. A significant book to read: “Case Closed,” by Gerald Posner. A comprehensive and very well-documented book on the assassination of JFK which in my estimation “closes the case” that Oswald was the lone gunman.
I have the book. It is an excellent examination of the assassination. I was in a book shop in Las Vegas when I picked up the book. In front of the book someone had scrawled ” this book is B.S. The Rockefellers and Rothschilds killed JFK” I thought that was funny and I bought the book. Most people don’t have a detailed knowledge of the crime and probably don’t have enough interest to spend the time to find out.

Then a few years later waited for hours on train track in Philly to see his coffin thru a window of a slow moving train car. Only president that I ever saw in person. Now our country struggles so much more, due to government officials, many of them Republicans, that do not live by our Constitution. If I were a wealthy person, I would move to another country. I was working in the Base Hospital’s Central Supply when a co-worker approached the door. He asked me if I’d heard the news. I said, “What news?” He responded that he’d just heard that the President had been assassinated. Just about then, people began passing by Central Supply, headed for the staff meeting room. I locked down Central Supply and joined the herd. The TV was on, and there it was: the horror story of the century… we all sat, dumbstruck, as little by little the details emerged. Too much controversy around the Kennedy assassination and the truth will probably never been known. I tend to believe Oswald on some level when he said he was a patsy because what better way for a rogue government agency to kill someone than recruiting a guy with known ties to Russia. I believe from what I’ve read that Robert Dulles was heavily involved in the plot. Years ago in the early 70’s I heard a talk by Oswald’s court appointed attorney who played a video of several witnesses who mysteriously died shortly after the Kennedy killing. Dorothy Kilgallen was skeptical of the Warren Commission’s finding and she has interviewed Jack Ruby publishing her interview. She died in November of 1965. There were several who were visited by people indentifying themselves as secret service and told they should not talk about anything saw. Many of these people ended up dead after being interviewed by Lane for his book A Rush to Judgement.
Horrible day witnessed by so many on TV and two days later we could not understand why they did not have Oswald surrounded by FBI and/or Police to protect him so he would be able answer questions as to why he killed the President and if he was paid to do so. Jack Ruby went to prison, and they said he died there, but many did not know if he had Plastic Surgery and living on an Island somewhere. Handled very badly by law enforcement and the FBI. Many felt we will never know the truth and still do.

Have they really did a proper investigation and not just hide this under the rug. There’s so many questions American people have and still today they don’t answer them. After a visit a few years ago to Dealey Plaza, it was obvious to me, that when they changed the Parade route of the President’s motorcade, it was moved to a “Shooting Gallery”. There was a big turn made just before the location where he was shot, that slowed the pace and gave the shooters access and a clear line of sight from multiple locations. To me, it was obvious that the grassy knoll hill and the book depository were ideal locations to shoot from. There were few more. Kennedy had no chance to survive that day. Whoever made/requested and was responsible for the change of the parade route was in on the plot to eliminate Kennedy. On a second point/question, how does Jack Ruby get access to Oswald as he is being paraded to the police station? Someone high up in the Dallas police administration tipped Jack Ruby as to when and where Oswald would be moved and made Oswald available to be silenced. No loose ends. My very rudimentary questions and conclusions are that the Congressman/Senator from Texas and VP and then President was at least aware and may have supported the heinous acts. The coincidence that it occurred in Johnson’s home state where Johnson had government contacts and easily could have made the plot workable with a few phone calls to the right powerbrokers in Texas. The CIA, under orders from recently fired director Allen Dulles, assassinated JFK. For Cordlandt Cunningham it was a “fixer” job to make sure all fingers, especially the Warren Commission of which Dulles was a member, pointed at Lee Harvey Oswald. Cunningham was the FBI ballistics expert who inspected Oswald’s weapons on behalf of the Warren Commission.
Why am I so certain of this? While writing a book about Leonard Peltier I came across Cunningham’s name and Googled him. He was the FBI ballistics expert who “found” the one and only shell casing in the trunk of one of the murdered agents on the Pine Ridge Reservation that implicated Leonard Peltier. In both the Canadian extradition hearing and the trial itself Cunningham’s find was a piece of damning evidence. Cunningham’s claim to fame 14 years before was never mentioned in court transcripts. Why not? Surely, pointing out his experience and expertise would have added impressive credibility to their case, yet it was never mentioned. Why not? At 4:30 am, it hit me. Cunningham was a “fixer.” If you wanted to make it look like an open and shut case, he was your man.
The motive? Dulles was furious when JFK fired him over the botched Bay of Pigs invasion. Dulles, who had been a “go-to guy” for nefarious acts not officially sanctioned, was incensed that after all his years of service, Kennedy was letting him go. How Dulles ended up in the Warren Commission to ensure the assassination was pinned on Oswald.

James Files was the shooter at the grassy knoll (see Files’ confession videos “I Shot JFK”, and “Files on JFK”). Paraffin testing showed no evidence of gunpowder residue on Oswald, except small traces in his hand. Not nearly enough to prove he fired 3 shots with a rifle and multiple gunshots at Tippett. Then, Ruby was sent to snuff Oswald out before he could talk.

JFK was assassinated by people working for Frank Sinatra. Frank and JFK were good buddies early in JFK‘s administration. When the FBI discovered that Frank had connections with the mob, the FBI suggested that JFK cut all ties with Frank, which he did.

Yes, I recall the shock vividly. My class was doing art (which I kept, I had put the date on in pencil before I knew he was shot, which can barely be seen now), there was a knock on our 6th grade door and we were told the President had been shot, our entire Catholic school immediately was led to our church where the priest announced he had died. When I got home the groceries were still in bags on our kitchen table, something my mom always immediately put away. She was crying softly in front of our black and white Motorola TV (something I also rarely saw her do) in our sun filled living room, it was later Nov. which is usually a windy, cloudy month, but not only was the sun brilliant but it was warm. We went outside with spring jackets or sweaters on, even as a kid it seemed so odd to me for the sun to be shining on such a sad day. Even then I liked history, so I knew it was an important day, that is why I saved my artwork and the newspaper from that day. It was Friday so I was allowed to stay up very late to watch the events. I made one comment to my brother in a moment of digression—Oh Twilight Zone won’t be on tonight— something we looked forward to on Friday nights getting to stay up for that. So yes, the world was in total shock, church bells rang, adults called one another on the phone in disbelief, I could go on and on, but I will end with something that for me also speak to the great sorrow. On the day of his funeral, the procession (I believe to the Capitol) was marked by the continuous sound of drums in a solemn beat, this and his son John saluting him.
Of course, any president being assassinated would be shocking and upsetting to the world, but the situation with President Kennedy was a little more intense. He and his wife were young, and attractive with 2 young children. They were equivalent to today’s celebrities. Women’s fashion imitated Jackie, (her hair, her suits and pillbox hats). For years the White House had been occupied by older men, so this was something refreshing (no offense to Eisenhower). He was also very popular with the media, aside from the above, he was friendly and witty to them. There were only 3 TV stations at that time, all with evening news, so he and his family were in our living rooms every night. As a result, even children were very aware of more than just his name. So, in my opinion this intensified the shock.

Oh I remember that day. I was in school, the Principal made an announcement telling us that the President was dead. We all, students and teachers were in shock. Teaches were crying and everyone was very quiet. We were dismissed early. One of the things that made it real was newscaster Walter Cronkite crying as he told the news. I watched the funeral, and my mom saw Ruby shoot Oswald on live TV. She was shook to the core.

Here’s some interresting notes; The sling on the Carcano 6.5x52mm rifle is installed upside down? The shoulder pad should be on top where it would rest on your shoulder. The only marks are from the rifling of the rifle barrel. I’ve recovered a lot of bulles from game animals, shot during hunting trips and only hit flesh, they were still beat-up a lot worse than that one? Looks like it had been fired into water, then recovered. Not two people and hit a wrist full of bone that stopped it. That looks funny as well?? Maybe Lee H Oswald shot Kenndy!! but some helped plan the shooting? Who??
There’s clues you missed! If you sniped the president, why leave your rifle leaned up against the wall you shot from, he supposedly used a WW2 ITALIAN infantry rifle no scope, there is no way he could make those shots at that distance or angle!
The commentary on the photos, particularly the one about the so-called magic bullet, perpetrate the falsehood that there is some ambiguity or question about what happened. For example, the magic bullet only followed an unusual course when conspiracy theorists lined up Kennedy directly behind Connally which was not the way they were situated. There was nothing magical about the bullet’s course when you realize how they were actually seated. Similarly there is nothing mysterious about how Oswald got his injuries. He tried to shot one of the police officers and there was a violent struggle to subdue him. People have made millions distorting the facts of the case and stirring up the gullible and the paranoid. Oswald killed JFK and he acted alone. Live with it.

I studied this for over 40 years. I knew then that the details were not accurate. Also they have color shots of the presidents head and after seeing these pictures of his shirt, trust me you do not want to see them, The government records any events with color film for archival purposes and as a matter of record for history. JFK was fatally shot from the front according to the doctors who worked on him that day. They have seen gunshot wounds before and know how bullets damage the skull from experience with hunting accident patients. They were told not to speak about what they saw because it would conflict with the OFFICIAL RELEASED DETAILS. JFK was a bloody mess and part of his head was blown off. He was also blue when he came into parkland but they had his upper torso covered with Clint Hills coat so nobody could photograph his remains. He also had a heartbeat still working when he entered the exam room but that quickly stopped later. As for Jackie I think they had to at some point wash her COAT because JFK lost alot of blood but the pics of her dress did not show much blood in the official photographs of her on AIRFORCE1. It is my belief that she FREAKED OUT when the third bullet hit the president and tried to get out of the car but Clint pushed he back in and covered over them both.
Finally morticians tried to reconstruct the presidents head but the results were very artificial looking and Jackie

There were 3 shots fired that day. I believe there were two from the front and one from the back. The third one from the front was a head shot that killed JFK. I listened to the ER Doctors who were in the ER when JFK arrived describe Kennedy’s head wounds and neck wound. I believe they were the only ones who told the truth years later because the Secret Service agents ordered them not to talk about what they observed that day. I don’t know who was responsible for JFK’s murder but there was no security close to the President who could’ve prevented the bullets from hitting Kennedy. The secret service agents, I think, are trained to stay close enough to the President to take the bullet if able especially since Kennedy was in an open car. All the secret service agents were in the car behind Kennedy. Since the motor Cade slowed down for some reason, they should’ve been beside Kennedy in case anything was to happen. Kennedy was a clear and open target for the snipers to take aim and fire.

Just imagine if people had been screaming “Is he dead yet?” Like they do now about President Trump. Anyone saying anything like that would have immediately been arrested and more than likely been charged quite heavily.
