Having your own mini-concert in the car

There’s no better feeling than hopping in your car at the end of a long, busy day, turning on the radio and singing along to your favorite jam like there’s no tomorrow. Anyone driving to work, day in day out or spending quite some time in the car knows what I am talking about. And it’s not just singing, it’s playing all sorts of instruments like you’re a one-man-band.

You play the drum, fervently touch the imaginary strings of the bass guitar and just when you are about to hit that high note, you make eye contact with someone in a car next to you and just like that…the concert is over!

Googling yourself

It’s ok, you can admit it! Most of us have done it and science even has a name for it. It’s called egosurfing and it is practiced by more than 47% of Americans with Internet access. Searching yourself online is not the embarrassing part, it’s the getting caught stalking yourself on Google part that’s super awkward. But, hey, if you are an amazing person, who can blame you for wanting to see what others see?

Checking yourself out in a window reflection

We all do it and it is actually hard not to, what with all the mirror-quality reflective windows of stores, office doors, cars and even IPads. You can’t help but check yourself out, either to fix your hair, adjust your blouse, or simply liking what you see. But it seems that every time you admire yourself in some reflective glass, someone’s there to witness your interaction with your reflection and make you feel embarrassed.
