Walmart is one of the world’s largest retailers of nearly everything, with about 4,700 store locations in the US. According to Consumer Reports’ rankings, their cleanliness rating is quite poor, and when combined with a reader ranking of 70 out of 100, that results in a not-so-great shopping experience.
Some of our readers actually shared with us some of the things they dislike about Walmart. According to them, the shelves aren’t always very clean, and the restrooms can be quite filthy.
2. Tops
Tops Friendly Markets is an American supermarket chain based in the Northeast, with stores operating in Vermont, Upstate New York, and Northern Pennsylvania. The company currently operates 149 stores and 5 gas stations/convenience stores.
It’s been in business for 60 years, so if you live in one of those three regions mentioned above, you definitely do your grocery shopping there.
